Get new orders on WhatsApp 📲

Now you can get a WhatsApp message on your phone every time someone places an order in your LotsStore store, so you do not have to keep the dashboard open. It is for any store owner or admin who is out and about, and it means a new order gets looked at sooner.

What the message contains:

• The order number, your store name, how many items and the total.
• An "Open order" button that takes you straight to the order in your dashboard, where you accept it.
• A separate message when a customer says they have paid by UPI, so you can check your bank or UPI app and mark it paid.

How to turn it on:

• Open your store, go to Settings and find WhatsApp alerts.
• Add your own WhatsApp number with the country code. We send you a 6-digit code on WhatsApp; type it in to confirm.
• Choose English or Tamil for the messages, and save.

How to stop: reply STOP to any message, or use "Turn off alerts" in Settings. If you reply STOP, confirm your number again to start later.

Good to know:

• Messages come from our business account on WhatsApp, shown with our company name rather than a phone number, and only you receive them. Your customers do not get WhatsApp messages from LotsStore yet.
• If a lot of orders arrive in an hour, you get the first ones and then one short note saying how many more are waiting.
• If you reply with anything else, our team reads it and answers by email.
